UBS Recognized As “Middle East’s Best Bank For Wealth Management 2020” At Euromoney Awards for Excellence
UBS has been recognized as the “Best Bank for Wealth Management” in the Middle East in Euromoney’s Awards for Excellence, further cementing its position as the world’s leading global wealth manager.
This year’s edition received almost 1,000 submissions from banks across the globe for its program that covers more than 50 regional awards and best bank awards in close to 100 countries.
UBS has a long-standing and strong presence in the region with close to 300 team members worldwide dedicated to the Middle East, as well as 80 people on the ground, and continues hiring throughout 2020. Thanks to the bank’s commitment to the region and its comprehensive advice, solutions and services to investors and businesses based in the Middle East, the contribution to the bank’s H1 2020 profits (PBT) coming from the MEA region has grown significantly over the last year.

The MENA region has the largest youth population in the world and according to UBS’s latest Investor Watch report there is growing interest by millennial investors in philanthropy. In the post COVID-19 erainvestors are determined to drive change that matters and they are seeking for the right support that will ensure the solutions they are investing in are making a positive and lasting impact on the world.
