The Sustainable City Named ‘Happiest Community’ At Gulf Real Estate Awards 2018
The Sustainable City, the first fully-operational sustainable community in the Middle East, has been named ‘Happiest Community’ at the closing ceremony of the Gulf Real Estate Awards 2018, which took place on 21st March at the Jumeirah Hotel, Dubai. The community also won the award for the ‘Best Real Estate Project’ in the ‘Master Development’ category and Diamond Developers won ‘Best Real Estate Developer – Sustainable’ in the ‘Green Development’ category
Faris Saeed, CEO of Diamond Developers — the property and real estate developer behind The Sustainable City — accepted the accolades on behalf of the company and commented: “At The Sustainable City, we are proud to be providing the world with a living blueprint for Happy Communities and low carbon living showing how the emissions gap can be closed through disruptive innovation and transformational societal change. We are honoured to have received these awards, which build on our success at the last edition of the Gulf Real Estate Awards and will motivate us to continue our important work as we progress with phase two of the community.”
The Gulf Real Estate Awards were launched in 2017 by the Dubai Real Estate Institute to foster competition and innovation in the region’s real estate sector. The awards programme celebrates and recognises the very best operators in the industry, providing companies with a chance to tell their success stories, showcase their achievements, reward their staff and benchmark their success against competitors. Winning a Gulf Real Estate Award is a prestigious symbol of excellence in the real estate sector.
