“Students And Professors Called Upon To Fight COVID-19”

UAE university students and professors currently working from home because of COVID-19 now have a strong incentive to use their academic skills to defeat the virus. Global Grad Show – a social impact innovation programme – is offering academic and research scholarships for undergraduates, graduates and faculty staff for winning ideas on how to halt the spread of the infection. In partnership with Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD) and supported by A.R.M. Holding and Dubai Culture, Global Grad Show is inviting proposals that address a critical issue surrounding COVID-19, with examples including home quarantine, decontamination of public areas, enhanced patient-screening and statistical disease-prediction. Proposals need to be registered by April 2, with Global Grad Show contacting any selected submission by April 16. Further information on how to participate can be found here.
