Masterchef, The TV Experience, Revamps Its Mystery Box Experience And Launches A Sensational New Menu Celebrating A Unique Blend Of Flavours
Neighbourhood eatery, MasterChef, the TV Experience, has given its signature Mystery Box experience a spectacular makeover and has launched a new menu featuring original dishes by Head ChefMargarita Vaamonde.
Bringing a piece of the popular TV phenomenon to the restaurant, the Mystery Box is a must try when visiting the Marina hotspot. Inspired by key elements of the show, the restaurant is offering guests the chance to tap into their adventurous side with a unique and bespoke dining experience, featuring the most delicious food and thrilling gastronomic discoveries.
With the new and improved Mystery Box experience, guests will be taken on a culinary journey through an array of exceptional dishes and flavours, with continuously evolving themes to maintain the element of surprise. The experience will explore a wide range of themes, each available for a limited time only, to provide an unparalleled and exciting experience designed to keep guests wanting more.
Guests are offered a set of ingredients, based on the theme, to select from, allowing them to create a specialized set menu dining experience. Choose your culinary adventure with options including a three, four and five course menu for AED 200, AED 230 and AED 250, respectively. The possibilities are endless and taste buds are sure to be satiated! Previously only available with 48-hour prior booking, the Mystery Box is now available daily and on demand at the restaurant during dinner.
MasterChef has also launched a new menu set to deliver the ultimate gastronomic experience and celebrate distinctive flavours.Crafted with innovative culinary skills, the new menu features a mouth-watering combination of exceptional dishes created by Head Chef Margarita Vaamonde,in addition to a range of dishes from past winners and finalists of the show, all shortlisted and expertly chosen to offer an unforgettable experience.
The new menu draws inspiration from Chef Margarita’s Venezuelan roots offering a combination of creative flair and incorporating elements from her experience with Western and Asian flavours as well the experiential methods of Latin American cuisine.
Guests can dazzle their taste buds with an exceptional selection of dishes, all created with an innovative touch, including the “Andean” Chicken Soup, a heart-warming chicken broth packed with a range of flavours and beautiful textures and King Fish Tostones,a delicious creation using local king fish, cooked ‘al mojo’ (with garlic) and served with lemon mayo and fried unripe plantains, smashed and double fried.
Guests are also encouraged to try the Caribbean “Fish and Chips”, a unique spin on the well-loved British dish prepared with whole red snapper fillet, fried in the tastiest batter, and served with crisp tostones and mango slaw, as well as the Josper Beef Picanha, a succulent steak cut and cooked to perfection and served with clarified butter chimichurri.

She continues, “For the new menu, a lot of the inspiration follows my own life experience and journey as a chef. I grew up in Venezuela where I discovered my love of cooking and took a large part of my inspiration from. Over the years in the industry, I have incorporated French, Asian and Middle East flavours into my repertoire which can clearly be seen in this new menu and refreshed Mystery Box concept”.
