Jumeirah Restaurant Group To Go Entirely Plastic-Free Across All Operations As Of March 18th
As the war on plastic heats up across the region, Jumeirah Restaurant Group (JRG) is further strengthening its commitment to the environment with the announcement of a company-wide ban on single-use plastic straws, swizzle sticks, stirrers and toothpicks across all its food and beverage outlets.
Coming into effect as of this Sunday March 18th, which also marks ‘International Companies That Care Day’, The Noodle House, Flow and Pierchic has already announced the removal of plastic straws and cutlery across its entire operation of physical restaurants and home delivery services, and now JRG’s other outlets including; Al Nafoorah, Pai Thai, Perry & Blackwelder’s, Trattoria Toscana, 360°, Segreto and The Agency are following suit by replacing all plastic with green alternatives.
To celebrate the significant occasion, The Noodle House is also hosting its Plastic Amnesty Day on March 18th, whereby diners who bring unwanted takeaway plastic cutlery to any of its branches (excluding Dubai International Airport) will receive 50% off their total food bill.
