It Is Time To “Order Anything” With The Launch Of Careem’s New Delivery Service
On February 4th, Careem announced the launch of its new on-demand delivery service, “Order Anything” in Dubai*. This is an evolution of Careem’s previous offering, Careem Box, which now provides an on-demand service where customers can order and have delivered any items desired, from personal errands and retail items, that fit in the 32x32x32 box and weighs a maximum of 7 Kgs. “Order Anything” has a starting fare of 8 AED and offers two options through the Careem Now App: Pick & Drop– where captains will be able to pick up anything forgotten or grab a delivery from a friend and deliver it to customers, and Shop & Drop – where captains will shop for any item on the customers behalf, with the amount limited to 350 AED.
Gheed Elmakkaoui, General Manager at Careem UAE said: ““Order Anything” was developed as a part of a Careem scheme to offer extensive on-demand delivery services to its customers, allowing for ease of their pick up, drop off and shopping needs.”
“Careem continues to find opportunities to enhance the customer’s experience and therefore decided to make changes to the current Careem Box service in order to be able to offer a more comprehensive on-demand service. As it states in the name, “Order Anything” delivers to any destination within the city of Dubai*. As the only multi on-demand delivery program, it is affordable and convenient, unlike any other service that exists currently in the market” said Elmakkaoui.
The service allows the customer to dictate what they need to have picked up and from where, and then provides the location necessary. A comment option is also available for the customer to communicate with the Captain and list the items to be purchased on his/her behalf.
When the user is busy and cannot do the chore of picking up or dropping something off, “Order Anything” will be there to assist – reliable, efficient and trusted.
