Business France is organising the French Pavilion at Airport Show Dubai from the 7th to 9th of May 2018 at Dubai World Trade Center, across 156 m² in Za’abeel Hall 5. Renowned for their expertise and know-how in relation to airport services French companies will be at the forefront of the exhibition to showcase their products and meet the expected decision-makers of the airport industry.
A representation of the diversity of the sector and French excellence, the French Pavilion will be organised into different specialist fields covering design, construction, equipment and systems as well as services on air traffic control and traffic on the ground, airline stopovers and terminals. SMEs with special expertise such as ground support equipment, lighting, ticketing and passenger information systems will be present. The offering will also be represented by large, renowned global groups, such as ADPI, a major player in the French sector with a strong presence in the Middle East, VINCI and THALES.
Airport Show Dubai is an important platform for the French aviation and airport sector as USD $100 billion has been committed to airport investment between now and 2020 across the Middle East. The airports of the GCC area (Gulf Cooperation Council) should see 250 million passengers passing through them by 2020. Growth of 5.2% per year is forecast in air traffic by 2020, and 5.8% cent per year in passenger traffic between now and 2025. No fewer than 10 airport construction, extension or renovation projects are planned over the next few years in the Middle East.
Airport Show Dubai continues to be the benchmark trade fair for firms to position themselves on all the airport modernisation and new construction projects in the region and it is an important opportunity for French companies to meet with key industry leaders.
