The wave of renovationsat the urban retreat started in 2010 when the elegant and high-tech Wasl Ballroom was introduced. Continuing to expand and innovate, this trend-setting hospitality leader added 197 rooms to its portfolio in 2014, creating the exclusive Le Royal Club building with the most modern décor and bespoke amenities. Featuring room size starting from 52 sq. metres, the 8-storey Le Royal Club boasts some of the largest hotel rooms in the city. With separate reception for each floor allowing swift check in, the dedicated staff ensures personalized service and individual keycard access for upmost guest security. Spacious and maintaining the hallmarks of the luxury hotel’s design aesthetics, each room is designed with contemporary furnishings in soothing neutral colours and is equipped with every modern comfort and the latest in technology. Similar upgradeswere introduced to the 92 basic guest room categoryin 2017 and the lobby area was relaunched as ‘Le Méridien Hub’.Designed in a contemporary style, with high columns and novel lighting accents, the lobby transformed into a modern and stylish environment, welcoming guests in a unique setting surrounded by floor to ceiling bookshelves and modern art installations. Artist Imad Bechara worked in collaboration with award-winning architecture and design house LW Design Group, creating bespoke art pieces for the space. The unique layout of the lobby at Le Méridien Dubai creates a fluid space for guests to experience Le Meridien hospitality whilst enjoying a multitude of facilities. The newly transformed lobby, ‘Le Meridien Hub’, plays host to Gourmandises Café and a chic, signature coffee bar, Latitude 25.
