Egypt’s Pyramid Of Djoser Lights Up In Celebration Of House Of The Dragon June 17th Premiere On OSN+

The ancient Pyramid of Djoser was illuminated with a spectacular light installation to celebrate the premiere of House of the Dragon Season 2, an eight-episode HBO Original drama series exclusively available on OSN+ across the MENA region starting June 17, 2024.

Brought to life by technical adviser Rupert Morse, whose work includes large-scale projects like Mission Impossible 6,the stunning display featured a dramatic face-off between Queen Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke) and Queen Rhaenyra (Emma D’Arcy) above the Pyramid of Djoser, intriguing audiences and heralding the return of one of television’s most anticipated series.

To further build excitement for the upcoming season, OSN+ hosted an exclusive regional screening of the first episode of the second season of House of the Dragon on June 12, 2024, at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray hotel where an exact replica of the Iron Throne was unveiled. Continuing the evening’s grandeur, Steve Toussaint, who portrays Lord Corlys Velaryon in the series, made a special appearance, joining host Faris Al Raqqad for a lively discussion where he shared insights about the upcoming season’s key developments and surprised guests with a reveal of the Pyramid installation, leaving them eager for more.
