InterContinental Partners With Saudi Designer, Hala Abdallah To Unlock Insider Access To Dubai Design Week
InterContinental, the world’s first and largest luxury hotel brand, is partnering withHala Abdallah to unveil the Middle East chapter of its global Doors Unlocked series – a new limited-edition calendar of exclusive bookable packages designed to immerse guests in the world’s most celebrated cultural events.
In the design capital of the Middle East, InterContinental has appointed cultural tastemaker, Hala Abdallah, one of the region’s most recognisable creative voices, to offer guests unparalleled behind-the-scenes access to Dubai Design Week. The Saudi architect turned jewellery designer, renowned for her distinctive style and passion for storytelling through design, will co-curate an exclusive 48-hour bookable experience. From 4-6 November at InterContinental Dubai Festival City, global travellers will have a unique opportunity to connect with the vibrant creative culture of the UAE with unprecedented insider access to the region’s largest creative festival, made possible by InterContinental.

Setting the tone for the rich discovery and inspiration to follow, Hala Abdallah will host a signature InterContinental Incredible Occasion dinner party at the hotel’s resident water-front restaurant, Pierre’s TT, led by its namesake, the Michelin-starred chef Pierre Gagnaire. This intimate event is set to be a trulymemorable experience, combining InterContinental’s legacy as a backdrop to life’s most memorable moments and skill in hosting thoughtful celebrations. Thoughtful gestures and cultural connections woven throughout the evening will be influenced by the designer’s modern artistry and cultural perspective, whilst Chef Pierre Gagnaire’s team will present a menu of artful cuisine with each dish a careful composition of flavours, feelings, and emotions.
The Middle East chapter of Doors Unlockedby InterContinental offers guests privileged VIP access to Downtown Design – the region’s leading contemporary design fair – and EDITIONS Art & Design, a curated showcase of collectible and limited-edition works. Guests will enjoy a private guided tour, offering rare insight into both Arab and international design narratives, led by a local expert.
Hala Abdallah will share her unique perspective with a tour of her favourite creative spaces in Dubai – from tucked-away ateliers and independent concept stores to inspiring local cafés and studios. These hand-picked stops reflect her passion for spaces that blend style, purpose, and cultural narrative, offering guests a new perspective on the city she calls a second home.

Doors Unlocked is a six-event bookable series taking place across the globe.
