Genesis today unveiled the redesigned GV60 in the MEA region, giving a new look to the brand’s dedicated electric vehicle (EV) model.
It’s the first time that the GV60 has undergone a redesign since it made its launch in the Middle East & Africa region.
The enhanced GV60 boasts a robust and modern exterior based on the brand’s “Athletic Elegance” design philosophy, while the interior comes with high-tech touches embraced by Genesis’ signature “Beauty of White Space” concept.
Genesis Connected Services
GV60 will have the official Genesis Connected services in the GCC upon launching. A suite of digital applications and remote services that are your direct link to convenience and confidence—features designed to keep you and your vehicle in touch, even when you’re not.
Genesis Connected services will be available in most but not all GCC countries. Genesis Connected Services is a customer solution driven by Hyundai Motor Group’s commitment to delivering seamless connectivity inside multiple countries in the GCC.
The GV60 will feature over-the-air software updates, using wireless technology to enhance performance, stability, and provide access to the latest features. As well as a digital key, which will allow ease of access to your car through your device whether it be on a smartphone or a smart watch.
Striking Presence
At the front, the new GV60 sports a redesigned bumper with a dynamic, three-dimensional shape that delivers a strong and bold impression.
The extended front overhang accentuates Genesis’ unique long hood design, while the headlamps that newly feature Micro Lens Array (MLA) technology highlight the brand’s iconic Two Lines design language.
On the side, the revamped model features 21-inch wheels with a sporty five-spoke design that harmonizes with the vehicle’s sleep, coupe-style silhouette and is complemented by wheel arch claddings in the same color as the body.
The fender garnishes and rear skid plate match the body color, providing a modern and rugged SUV look that underscores the GV60’s wide and low stance.
High-Tech Elegance
The interior retains the well-received elements of the previous model such as the Crystal Sphere — a sphere-shaped shift-by-wire system — while incorporating high-tech features that seamlessly blend with the Beauty of White Space concept andhelp to create a luxurious ambience.
Newly applied to the redesigned GV60 is a 27-inch connected car Integrated Cockpit (ccIC)infotainment system, which eliminates the bezel between the cluster and audio, visual and navigation (AVN) screen. The integration of the upper part of the crash pad contributes to an interior design that appears more spacious.
A new three-spoke steering wheel adds a sporty touch to the vehicle while enhancing driver usability.
Further details on the redesigned GV60’s specifications and pricing will be announced in the first quarter prior to Korean sales.
