Dubai Culture Organises ’Innovative Student Forum’ In Cooperation With Dubai Educational Zone

Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the Emirate’s dedicated entity for culture, arts and heritage, organised the third edition of the ‘Innovative Student Forum’ in cooperation with Dubai Educational Zone during its participation in ‘UAE Innovation Week’.

Innovative students from over 40 public and private schools presented a range of outstanding innovations during the forum, which featured various events including lectures on ‘Artificial Intelligence’, ‘Future Exploration for Drug Awareness’ and ‘Love My Siddiqui’ presented by experts from the Dubai Police General Command. Other activities included robotics competitions provided by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, lectures by UAE inventor Ahmed Majan on the importance of invention and proficiency, and many other recreational activities focused on innovation.

Fatima Lootah, Director of the Cultural and Heritage Programme at Dubai Culture, commented: “The activities organised by Dubai Culture were part of our wider efforts to support the Emirates Innovation Month 2018, which reached Dubai in the last week of February. By strengthening our relationship of cooperation with Dubai Educational Zone, we encouraged young people to innovate and highlight their achievements in this area, which served as an incentive for others and supported our vision of establishing Dubai as a home for happy, creative and empowered individuals who are proud of their cultural identity.”
