du To Celebrate World NGO Day With A Health And Safety Session For Community Organisations

 In celebration of World NGO Day and to raise awareness about the importance of attention to health and safety in the workplace, du from Emirates integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC) is hosting a health and safety session for local community organizations and charitable foundations on 27th February 2018. Partners attending the session include organizations such as Beit Al Khair, the New England Center for Children as well as community members of the Dubai Chamber’s Center for Responsible Business such as Friends of Cancer Patients, Goumbook, Manzil, and others.

Attention to health and safety is not just about compliance with the law – it is also about being socially responsible and making good business sense, and with this session, we aim to help improve the workplace experience for all.”

du’s health and safety session is the fifth installment in a series of free-of-cost workshops for community organizations, with previous sessions focusing on Social Media, Strategic Communication and PR, Brand Protection, and Driving Organizational Performance in the community sector. The health and safety workshop is designed for people working in Human Resource Management or related fields within community organizations.
