The Most Engaged Country In The World Set To Discuss Tech And Workplace Evolution At HRSE 2019

With more than 5,000 HR professionals due to descend on Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from 4th to 6th November, HRSE 2019 will feature an HRSE Strategy Summit and HRSE Tech Summit.

The event will host top employers from regional and international organisations including Expo 2020 Dubai, NASA Space, Estee Lauder Companies, Facebook, Zandel, Etisalat, and World Bank, amongst others.

To mirror evolving workplace dynamics, HRSE 2019 will facilitate business and collaboration opportunities by housing a range of workshops, free-to-attend seminars and a start-up pitch competition.

In the main expo arena, hundreds of exhibitors will showcase solutions fit for today’s fast-paced, digital-centric workplace, while visitors will also be able to tour a dedicated tech zone, the HR innovation stage, a start-up hub, a wellness zone hosted by AXA Insurance, as well as take part in various networking opportunities.

The HRSE 2019 speaker line-up will be led by bestselling New York Times author Marcus Buckingham, whose ADP Research Institute recently published ‘The Global Study of Engagement Technical Report’ which showed that UAE has the most engaged workforce in the world.

Buckingham said: “26% of employees in the UAE are fully engaged – which means a workforce that is deeply committed to their jobs and their work. The global average is 16%, making UAE the most engaged country in the world in 2019.”

Also speaking is world-renowned explorer Mark Pollock. The first blind man to race to the South Pole will deliver keynote sessions focusing on building workplace tolerance.

Pollock said: “We must find a balance between our competitive instincts as individuals and our ability to work together towards a common goal. As we work together to promote tolerance among communities, that process requires empathy, patience and space to understand alternative perspectives. Hence why I applaud the UAE and its leadership for dedicating 2019 as The Year of Tolerance.”

Other speakers at the forefront of HR disruption and thought-leaders in the digital space will explore aspects of leadership, technology and overall employee experience as they deep dive into millennial talent, tolerance, agile HR practices, and championing change in an evolving business world.

The extended speaker line-up includes ‘Digital Evangelist’ David Shing; Kory Kogon from FranklinCovey; Michael Platt, a Professor of Neuroscience at The Wharton School; and Tammy Erickson, the McKinsey award-winning author and professor at London Business School.

“HRSE is committed to supporting the HR profession through an extensive professional development agenda featuring a plethora of HR heads from top employers, inspirational headline speakers, over 130 educational sessions, and far-reaching knowledge-sharing and networking opportunities,” added Kelly.

The HRSE 2019 visitor experience will be enhanced by additional features including over 25 live product demos, speed-networking, meditation sessions, book signings and roundtable discussions.
