11th IREIS Kicks Off In October With High-Level Events Showcasing Local Investment Opportunities
The 11th edition of the International Real Estate and Investment Show (IREIS), a leading investment platform and the only real estate event in Abu Dhabi that targets investors and consumers rather than trade visitors, is all set to take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from October 30, 2019 until November 1, 2019.
Organized by Dome Exhibitions, the three-day event is expected to bring under one roof regional and international real estate investors, brokers, and developers from the Middle East, Europe, and Asia Pacific to showcase their wide spectrum of property developments alongside an array of immense investment options as well as consultation and financing opportunities.
IREIS is taking place as the much-awaited Expo 2020 Dubai draws nearer. Expo 2020 has boosted the economic activities in Dubai and the UAE, further driving key local industries such as the real estate sector. After the country won the right to host Expo 2020, local property developments have expanded exponentially in anticipation of the arrival of millions of international visitors and participants. The industry is also expected to sustain its upward trajectory post-Expo 2020.
Outlook on the real estate segment has also remained upbeat thanks to last year’s approval by the UAE Cabinet of a new system concerning the issuance of long-term residence visas. The move is seen to further attract more foreign investors to the country, which will further fuel the growth of the property industry.
In conjunction with the IREIS exhibition will be a host of conferences and events highlighting the global real estate market and other investment prospects encompassing the different industries in Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
The ‘International Investment Conference 2019’ is one of the high-level associated events taking place simultaneously with IREIS. Renowned experts and academicians, seasoned practitioners and investors, representatives of government bodies and legal entities, and consultants are some of the expected participants who will share their insights and experiences during the gathering. The attendees will specifically underscore various modern investment strategies, prevailing relevant laws and regulations, and the impact of the latest investment trends and developments at the national and global levels.
In addition, the conference will look into attracting foreign direct investments (FDIs) through confidence building initiatives designed to produce concrete outcomes and achieve higher investment inflows.
Antoine Georges, Managing Director, Dome Exhibitions, said: “We are bringing the 11th edition to new heights by hosting the international exhibition highlighting the steadily growing real estate in Abu Dhabi and the UAE in conjunction with associated events designed to boost the country’s bid to become a global hub for investment and business innovation. These conferences and events will feature top global experts who will give an expert advice as they answer all issues and concerns of visitors from different parts of the world. Additionally, we will be holding the first ‘Innovation Hub Awards’ this year in which both students and professionals can submit their innovative ideas across the competition’s four major categories for an opportunity to present their proposals on the international stage, in line with Abu Dhabi’s initiatives to support start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).”
“The high-level and fruitful activities are going to highlight a range of immense investment prospects in the local and global markets. It comes at a time when the UAE is in the midst of steady economic growth and is increasingly becoming an important global player. As such, it is poised to further accelerate in the coming years. Therefore, now is the best time to know more about and carve a niche in the UAE market, where IREIS provides that platform to engage with the right people,” Georges added.
IREIS will also host the 5th edition of ‘The International Residency and Citizenship Pavilion’ to highlight the Dual Citizenship and Visa-Free travel for major destination countries across the globe. The Expo will offer superior expertise in the complex decision-making process necessary to gain the right citizenship and residency option.
The ‘World Free Zone Expo’(WFZE), the first of its kind B2C platform in Abu Dhabi, will also take place during IREIS. The event will provide a platform for free zones to engage with onshore and offshore companies as well as business start-ups for future strategic collaborations and cooperation.
‘Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) Conference’ will be staged as well to identify and promote opportunities for growth, partnership, and innovation, with the aim of accelerating the use of capital technologies and talent towards sustainable economic growth. Participants from India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Lebanon, Egypt and South Africa, to name a few, are expected to join the gathering.
This year’s edition will also witness the launch of ‘Innovation Hub Awards 2019’ to be held under the theme ‘Creating Innovative Sustainable Environment in Investments.’ Targeting students and professionals, the award aims to throw the spotlight on innovative ideas across four categories, namely environment, sustainable future, automation, and investments. IREIS aims to support its participants in their investment plans, helping them reach new and emerging markets at the regional and global levels. Serving as the meeting point for key regional and international property investors and developers, the event will provide the participants with an ideal venue for interaction and networking with like-minded peers; brand awareness development and penetration; and engagement with decision makers and experts from all over the world.
