IHC And WAQF Launched The First Arabic Course “Arabic For All”
As a translation of the vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and the federal government’s efforts to strengthen the national identity and enhancing the use of Arabic language, the International Humanitarian City (IHC) and in coordination with the WAQF Foundation launched the first course “Arabic for All” in the IHC.
The launch started with a welcoming note by HE Shaima Al Zarooni, Chief Executive Officer of the IHC. HE highlighted the WAQF Foundation contribution to support the national identity of the United Arab Emirates towards promoting the usage of the Arabic language through providing the course free of charge to all IHC valuable member’s employees who are interested in learning Arabic language.
The course opening was attended by Mr. Omar Abdullah Al ‘Shathry, the WAQF Development Deputy Director General and Dr. Mohammad S. Alowayed, the International Relations Department Manager of WAQF Foundation. Mr. Omar provided a short brief about the WAQF Foundation Arabic training courses and emphasized the role of the IHC in enabling many of the international humanitarian organizations to be hosted and operating from such an exceptional humanitarian hub as the International Humanitarian City.
Also he extended his appreciation to the International Humanitarian City management, in particular the IHC CEO, HE Shaima Al Zarooni and the IHC team who contributed to the arrangement of this session. With More than 32 individuals registered in the course, the IHC and WAQF Foundation wished all the students a successful course hoping to succeed in drawing the native Arabic on all lips.
