6 Middle East Schools Win In First Ever Tes Awards For International Schools
Seven schools and six teachers have won awards in the inaugural Tes Awards for International Schools.
The awards programme builds on the success of the UK’s prestigious and long runningTes Schools Awards, dubbed ‘the Oscars of education’.
These 13 winners were selected by an independent panel of expertjudges from 96 shortlisted schools located across the globe. Regionally, 6 awards were won by schools in the Middle East, 5 in Asia, 1 in Africa, and 1 in Europe.
Almost half of the 13 categories were won by Middle Eastern schools. These awards include Curriculum Initiative of the Year, Head Teacher of the Year, Leadership Award, Staff Wellbeing Initiative of the Year, and Student Mental Health Initiative of the Year.

The Tes Awards for International Schools will be held again in 2025, with nominations opening later this year.
